Our community (and your ALR investment) is uniquely desirable and valuable compared to most other Colorado properties due to the design and delivery of our water system.
Community-Owned & Operated
The Alpine Lakes Ranch Water Co. (WATCO) is a not-for-profit corporation owned equally by the 213 property owners of Alpine Lakes Ranch Property Owners Association. A six-member board of directors, elected by the property owners, manages the ranch-owned water system.
A Licensed Public Water System
The water system is licensed by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) as a "Public Water System." WATCO contracts with licensed and insured operators to run the system.
State-Mandated Standards
While only members of the ALR POA can connect to the system, we are required to meet all testing and regulatory requirements mandated by the State of Colorado.
How We Serve Your Water System
Alpine Water Sourcing
We source water directly from our alpine watershed, leveraging the natural elevation and purity of the San Juan Mountains to deliver clean water to every property.
Water Quality Assurance
Our licensed operators apply treatment processes to ensure every drop meets or exceeds CDPHE drinking water standards before it reaches your tap.
State Compliance
We conduct all required water quality testing and submit regulatory reports to the State of Colorado, keeping our community in full compliance year-round.
Delivering Water to Every Property
Our distribution network spans the entire Alpine Lakes Ranch community, maintaining pipelines, pressure systems, and service connections to reliably deliver water to all 213 property owners.
